Tutu Semillón De Tinajas
Description
100% Semillón from Chilecito, southern San Carlos
Tutu pays tribute to Miles Davis’ iconic 1986 album, which itself honors the legendary peace activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Desmond Tutu, who dedicated his life to defending minority rights.
The wine aims to express peace through delicacy and transparency, much like Miles and Desmond. It reflects its origin, showcasing the aromas and textures of the vineyard without unnecessary additions or intervention.
Winemaking: Fermented with the skins in clay amphorae. Once fermentation is complete, the skins are removed before oxidation occurs, allowing the wine to retain its white wine character.
Tasting Notes: Restrained on the nose and palate at first, yet concentrated with remarkable persistence on the finish. It reveals a vibrant acidity, great length, and a linear profile that evolves beautifully with time. Best enjoyed with seafood dishes such as ceviche or tiraditos.
