100% Merlot from Paraje Altamira, San Carlos
Lila is a project founded by Federico Groisman. Its name comes from the Huarpe language and means “harvest time.”For him, the harvest is the most important moment in creating a truly unique wine. The wines are produced from estate-owned vineyards in Paraje Altamira.
Winemaking: The process begins with the selection of the finest grapes from the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months in second-use French oak barrels.
Food Pairing: Ideal with semi-hard cheeses or traditional Argentine empanadas filled with hand-cut beef.
